ALGIERS, Apr 24 (THE AFRICAN PORTAL) -Members of the Algerian and Chadian delegations held bilateral talks on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, on the sidelines of the official visit paid by the President of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to Algeria.

In this respect, the Chief of Staff to the Presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem, held talks with the Chief of Staff of the Chadian Presidency, Mohamed Saleh Aziz, and the Chadian Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation, Tahir Hamid Nguilin.

The Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons Mohamed Arkab, accompanied by the Minister of Mines and Mining Industries, Mourad Hanifi, also met with the Chadian Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Geology.

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, accompanied by the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of Diplomatic Affairs, Amar Abba, held talks with the Chadian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad.

For his part, the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Said Sayoud, met with the Chadian Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and Meteorology.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, also held talks with the Chadian Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Vocational Training.

Minister of Health Mohamed Seddik Ait Messaoudene held talks with his counterpart, the Chadian Minister of Public Health.

Minister of Industry Yahia Bachir and Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig, both held talks with the Chadian Minister of Trade and Industry.

The Minister Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Yacine Mehdi Oualid, met with the Chadian Minister of Livestock and Animal Production.

The Minister of Youth in charge of the Higher Council for Youth, Mustapha Hidaoui, accompanied by the Minister of Sports, Oualid Sadi, held talks with the Chadian Minister of Youth and Sports.

For his part, the Minister of Communication, Zoheir Bouamama, held talks with the Chadian Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson, while the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, held talks with the Chadian Minister for infrastructure, disenclavement and road maintenance.
