ACCRA, Oct 30 (The African Portal) – A Ghana Air Force officer has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman and a pharmacist at Burma Camp in Accra.
The officer, identified as Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Mensah Williams, is reported to be attached to the Office of the Chief of Staff.

The incident has drawn widespread concern within the military community, with calls for firm action to uphold discipline and protect the image of the armed forces.
Meanwhile the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has formally issued a statement regarding the arrest of William Mensah, the soldier involved in the assault.
