ACCRA, Oct 1 (The African Portal) – The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has warned prospective recruits not to fall victim to online scams as it prepares to begin its 2025 enlistment exercise.
In a statement issued on Monday, 29 September, the military said it has not advertised its recruitment process through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Instead, it said details of the exercise have been published in the state-owned Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times newspapers, and will also be available on GAF’s official website and verified platforms.
The armed forces added that this year’s recruitment will take place across all 16 regional capitals, in what it described as a decentralised approach aimed at ensuring equal access for eligible applicants nationwide.
The statement urged the public to rely only on official channels for information about the exercise.
