Charles Akwasi Aidoo, assistant headmaster in charge of academics, has also been barred from entering the school pending investigations, the GES said in a statement.

“Management views this matter with utmost seriousness,” the statement said, adding that the action was part of efforts to protect the integrity of the teaching profession and ensure the welfare of students.

The GES said due process would be followed and that disciplinary measures would be applied in line with its code of conduct.

It reiterated its commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline and child protection in schools.
