ACCRA, Oct 27 (The African Portal) – The family of the late former First Lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has announced arrangements for condolence visits following her passing on October 23, 2025.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Agyeman-Rawlings and allied families said they will receive visits from members of the public, groups, and institutions only on weekdays until further notice. The family emphasized that no visits will be received on weekends.
Sympathisers wishing to visit the family have been advised to schedule appointments in advance by calling 0276500008.
The statement also invited tributes in honour of the late former First Lady, which can be sent via email to TRIBUTES@NANAKONADUAGYEMANRAWLINGS.ORG
The family encouraged friends, colleagues, and the public to share personal memories, photographs, and videos of Nana Konadu, including images from 31st December Women’s Movement events and schools she helped establish.
According to the statement, hard copies of such materials may be submitted to Trudy at the Office of Former President Rawlings, located at No. 1 Sekou Toure Link, Accra.
“The family counts on the cooperation of all,” the statement concluded.
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, wife of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, was Ghana’s longest-serving First Lady and a pioneering advocate for women’s rights and empowerment.
