WA, Oct 8 (The African Portal) -Ghana’s police say they have arrested a man believed to be behind a string of murders in the Upper West Region, particularly in the regional capital, Wa.
One of the suspects has allegedly confessed to killing nearly 20 people across several towns, including Wa, Bole, Banda Nkwanta, and Bamboi.
Police reports indicate that at least 15 people have been killed in Wa alone since 2021.
Investigators say the arrest marks a major breakthrough in efforts to solve a series of killings that have caused fear among residents.
